There are many times when you desperately wana get out of a place and just fly to another country where you can just enjoy the breeze uninterrupted and totally at ease with yourself?
Perhaps with a hot cuppa in your hands as you sat in the balcony watching the sun set.....
Yes. I need to take a break. A breakaway from the bustling land. Breakaway from stress & work.
So i splurged a whole sum of nearly 2k just 2 days ago on a 12 days aussie melbourne trip. Totally unplanned, totally last minute and totally unintentional. We haven't even plan for accomodation, but i guess this is the really exciting part. You don't know what you're going to get in the end, yet nothing stops us from going.
Just pack and go.
An eye-opener i guess. And i'm lucky to have a great friend along. Shld be fun and total MADNESS (if you know the name of the char bor who i'm going with, u will understand why i'll say it's maeness. Oops. Did i spell wrongly? haha sama sama la)
I want to kiss the penguins and perhaps catch a glimpse of the 12 Apostles. Wana visit Victoria Market and munch on Macadamia nuts as i tread on the pavement. Wana venture into the many many warehouse sales available and lug bags of billabong, ripcurl or adidas stuffs back.
How often is it that you have the chance to hide in a corner of the earth doing things you've always wanted to do badly?
I think i only got 2 chances per year. June / December. Totally precious limited time.
And i'm lookin forward to December Japan trip with Fren and co!!
*Crossing fingers hoping the trip will come true*
But right now, what i've to worry perhaps, is to try saving all over again after the trip.
And that is perhaps the most challenging & dreadful part about travelling :p
1st - 12th june. Till then :)

Squeezed out time to meet up with the peeps last saturday.
Over the years, everyone has changed a little i would say.
Gosh... We have known one another since 16!! Working in Metro then. Me and zida as cashiers and eileen as promoter.... Time swoosh past unknowingly!
The best thing about long time friends i think, is that you still have ALOT of things to talk/gossip/complain/laugh/share about though you guys don't meet up that often. Which is something awfully precious, cos you know you can't find back the same feeling with people you got to know when you began working.
I heart you peeps! *grinz*
After eating the gluey tang yuan with black sesame, i sprinted off to meet Fren with a rather upset stomach coupled with nausea feeling. Quite a bad feeling. Slept at his place for an hour before heading to............
T2 & T3!
I seriously don't heart T3 as much as T2, though with its clever designs and fascinating deco ideas to attract tourists, i just don't feel at home.
I'd much prefer T2, with its warm lightings and familiar smell... Hahaha.....
Maybe cos Fren 1st celebrated my birthday there? Tee hee hee....
Headed home and becos i was feeling sick, Fren began entertaining me with the "YEAH!" hand i bought him. Hahaha or was it the other way round?? Hmmmz......
He tried digging his nose with that hand, while i watched with an *ahem* disgusted face. Wahahaha. Oops.
And becos he digged too much, the hand decided to auto slap his face. OUCH.
i adore it when he smiles like this :)
It turns out to be happy "Yeah-ing session" afterall!
Felt tons better. Always good to have someone by your side when you're feeling down and out with an upset stomach. *Happiness* :)

Came across this quote rather coincidentally.
Do you agree?
Is that why so many people out there tend to play the yo-yo game though their heart is not totally with their partner?
Cos they fear of losing someone good? Cos they fear of losing someone good and not being able to find a better one ever again? Though they already got the best?
Like what a guy friend told me.... He's planning to get married soon.... Bought a HDB flat with his 3 years girlfriend.... But he told us he doesn't love her very much.... Just think that she is someone "GOOD" and most impt of all... SHE LOVES HIM ALOT.
And he's afraid if he let her go.... He won't be able to find someone as GOOD...
So we asked... What happens if he finds someone better along the way?
Well... His answer, almost expectedly, "I won't deny the fact that if i found another better person, i will leave her for the better one."
BIG PIECE OF SHIT.
Most outrageously is ...........
He commented "ALL GUYS THINK THE SAME."
Is this true? Do all guys think this way?
If this is, i won't ever want to step down the aisle with someone who loves me half-heartedly lor.
So i couldn't help asking him....
"How will your girlfriend feel if she knows u don't love her as much?"
He replied, almost confidently, "She will NEVER know about this. This is a guy's secret. If i let her know about this, do you think she will still be with me?"
Arghs......... *pound chest*
Scary........ Imagine the girl dressed beautifully in her wedding gown, people wow-ing at her maybe 1 carat diamond ring.... Her parents watching her, perhaps shedding a tear or two....
While the groom standing beside her, might be thinking of that hot babe sitting two rows behind?
I felt very upset for his girlfriend, or rather, wife-to-be.
But at the same time, i suspect perhaps what he says is partly true too.
Though sounds very evilish, but yes, it might be sadly the exact truth.
Except that your seemingly loving boyfriend or girlfriend is just too reluctant to reveal. *SIGHS*
Karma....... One day i hope, the girlfriend will leave him and HOPEFULLY by then, he will realise how deadly important she is to him..... And beg for her return..... Which she won't.
What's the point.... I asked.... If you hang onto someone just becos of your nagging fears?
Fear of losing someone good and unable to meet someone better?
Or give people mixed signals just becos you refuse to be alone? Or simply afraid to be lonely?
If a guy ever treats me like a yoyo..... I will give him a...... Pendulum!
Hahaha okays lah, cold joke again..... oops......
What i'm trying to say is......
Don't expect things to be the same again after you shattered what you shouldn't have and turn back to the girl saying "i regretted....."
We are adults, so treat your partner like one. Handle things/ relationships like an adult. Cos we aren't into puppy love. Don't take someone who loves you for granted while keeping an eye for someone better to come along so that you can happily ditch her.
Or request the girl to wait while taking your own sweet time deciding what you really want?
Once you leave, don't ever expect to return.
And so if someday he's going to leave that girl for a better someone out there, she too, should be confident that she can find a MUCH MUCH better someone too. Why not?
And perhaps this MUCH MUCH better guy can treat her and love her so much more.
It's not a case of an eye for an eye here, but remember, it's him who let her go first.
This is my stand.
Watch what you say and stop hurting my drop dead gorgeous, single and highly available friend.
