i was happily playing computer games in the comfort of my room,

with my legs hanging on the sides of the chair... the lights switched off.....

When i saw 5 fingers creeping on the wall.......

getting nearer to the socket......

AND!

ALMOST, NEARLY SWITCH OFF MY COMPUTER JUST LIKE THAT!!!

*faints*

"WAIT ah!!!" I sprang up from my chair.

"WAH! I thought you kun liao, so i off the computer for u!"

"Mamee!!!! But u can see the computer is on!!!"

"How i know! Wait u on your computer but go to sleep then later explode how!?"

"But switch off must switch off the right way!! Arboh it will also explode!!!"

"AIYO ok lah ok lah! Gui diam liao still mai kun!!! Zho simi!!!"
(hokkien*: aiyo! wat time liao still don't sleep! what u doin!)

She turns to her room, stopped halfway then suddenly returned to my room again.

"YES?"

"Ha kin kun lah. Mai tu liao. Orr bak cak ah. Buay swee liao."
(hokkien*: faster sleep lah, don't waste time. Wait got dark eye circles then not pretty liao.)

Sometimes mamee can be scaring you in the middle of the night.

But most of the time, they make us feel loved. deep deep one.
