September 2011 - Phuket getaway

From July till Sept, i was having the mad rush.

From JuLy till Sept, my emotions were rather unstable.

From July till Sept, i was uncertain if my trip could come true becos of an unexpected meeting.

From July till Sept, i have been looking forward to this trip.

And so, we went =)

Dumped our luggage and zipped right to the beach. Greeted by cooling water & breezy winds...

Nursing our stomachs after a 1.5hr flight with no food.

Stoning. Chilling.

One of my fav. past time is to lie down on the beach chair, waiting quietly for the sun to come down and watching as the sky transforms into various shades of orange and red.

Would you pay SGD $80 to paraslide for 10minutes? We couldn't bear to spend that kind of money and the Q was too long. It was quite an eye-opener to see how they land the parachute.

We went beach hopping in this motorbike that cost us SGD$30 per day. Cheap cheap. Went Karon beach, a 10min ride from Patong. The waves was rougher (better), lesser people (best!), but surprisingly, the water wasn't that clean.

It was kinda sweet of him to arrange for a dinner date. Luckily i brought along a suitable dress! Rest of the clothes were mainly shorts and tees.

Took a stroll to banglah street after dinner. Happening place. Bumped into these ah guas, and she forced my hand on her breast! Knn... Pai seh the hell of me. Haha. But it also made us SGD$50 poorer for 3 pictures. Definitely NOT worth it.

We also did island hopping. Thanks to the roadside stall that gave us a super good deal! Ferry, including a buffet lunch meal and at least 4 island stops, all rounded up to just SGD70 per pax! Definitely a much better deal as compared to what the resort offered us.

Went phi phi island, maya bay, khai nok island etc etc. Almost every stop that we went to, we did snorkeling. And it was fun! Though i drank quite a mouthful of (super salty!) seawater when i weren't really used to breathing through my nose than my mouth.

Happy snorkeling experiences. It was our first time snorkeling =)

An unforgettable trip that left us both super sunburnt like baked lobsters! Haha...

Yet, everything was worth the while =)
