You know how it is.. When one just got out of a r/s and suddenly has all the time in her hands... It can get rather daunting, because all of a sudden you're left on your own.

Have to adapt to days without someone to cuddle up to... No new messages in your inbox... Nobody to talk to on the phone, no weekends to look forward to, and you got to re-plan all your schedule and activities. Worst, when one is too free, the mind begins to wander, and starts re-romantizing the past, which is definitely somewhere i don't wish to walk into.

So... i know i need to cut my friends some slack. They are very very kind to accompany me through one of my life's worst moments, but they got their own life to build, their own schedule to catch up with. I can't rely or get dependent on them forever.

In order to prevent myself from backsliding (today is the 17th day of no contact btw, i just did some mathematics), i have come up with 10 things i can do for myself NOW... At least priority now is to give my emotions a break and keeping myself occupied.

Top 10 things i'm going to do for myself (To occupy the abundance of time)

1) Pick up a sport. (Checked. Thanks to jialing for introducing me Yoga! =))

2) Pick up a new language. (Checked. Thanks to Joseph who introduced me to the popular Korean class @ his CC)

3) Pack my room & make it tidier. (Checked. Spent a whole sunday packing clothes, books and papers that have been lying around every corners of the room. Phew!)

4) Get a pedicure once every 2 weeks, and it shld be an ongoing one. Don't ask me why, cos' it's simply right to pamper myself once in awhile =) (Unchecked)

5) Go for a foot, hand and shoulder massage once every month. I deserve & absolutely need it... (Unchecked. Gonna start when i feel richer. Hahaha)

6) Go out and meet more people. Friends' friends' friends' friends.... (Half checked. I'm not that ready to meet new people yet, but i know i will do that anyway)

7) Buy more DVDs so i can stay home & avoid going out to waste $$$ (Checked. Thanks to Mae and myself for all the DVDs .... Happy!)

8) Buy myself more books & magazines to increase knowledge. (Half checked. I just bought some books... But these ain't enough lah!)

9) Spending more time with my family, taking ah boy out for walks. (Half checked. Really guilty of not spending enough time with them, esp during the time when i was stuck in shitmud and totally neglected them...)

10) Shed 5 kilos. Running at least twice each week for 30mins & avoiding all carbo. (Half Checked. I need to, given the fact that i've been eating & eating & eating nonstop! Blehs! And running makes one feels good.)
