I spent the whole morning today, dialling helplines with regards to my new "wireless" modem. It seems like my bro and i can't use the internet concurrently at the same time.
Since it's wireless and there's this guy who came to help me set up the modem...
I thought i could just lay back comfortably and leave everytg to him to settle!
WRONG!
Their services sucks la. And i didn't know i got to invest on USB adapters too!
Worst thing is.... When i called their technical helpline, i was eventually referred to call another number regarding the router...
TO MY HORROR...
I ACTUALLY DIALED A NUMBER ALL THE WAY TO MUMBAI INDIA!!!!!!!
*GASPS*
And the SINGT** people DID NOT tell me i'll be dialling an overseas number!!
WTH!?
I ONLY found out when that guy with this funny english accent asked me, "Which country are you from? Australia?"
"NO, S-I-N-G-A-P-O-R-E!"
"Okay, this is XXXX here, servicing you from India."
*BANGS WALL VOMITS BLOOD*
So i spent the rest of the 20 plus minutes tokking to someone who doesn't understand much english, and i practically have to spell every word for him!!
Got more suay or not !!!
I shouted into the phone not cos i is angry. I shouted at him cos he said reception not good, ask me to speak LOUDER.
In the end, i waited like 10mins for him to get back to me after he asked me to wait. So i wait and wait then gave up and called back Singt**. Luckily this time round, a more experienced technician was able to "enlighten" me by telling me wad to do.
But i wasted like almost 30 plus minutes calling the helplines plus dialling overseas call to INDIA!!!
*Bangs wall again*
Duhs...
I is starting to regret signing up for this :(

LATEST UPDATE:
My Knight in Shining Armour aka Fren pei me go buy a new adapter, helped me set up the new adapter, and as we met up with problems along the way...
He solved it all !!! My hero!!!
I know it has been a long day for him, as we played around two computers, the modem as well as the adapter for nearly 2 hours before he could finally rush home for dinner.
And most importantly, i know deep down, he did these just for me *big grinz*
I love yoU!! HeeHee.... :D

Realie very touched, though back then, i wasn't in the mood to reply to you all.
However, peace has been regained and i credit a part of it to the help of Fren :)
Shall not divulge the details here, but i am really touched by what he did. Though he may feel he did nothing.
I really am touched. Neverthless.
