-The Big Leap-

Friday afternoon, 29th Feb, on the day of the leap year,

i was ushered into a small room...

Had lots of questions runnin' through my head. I got cold feet, seriously.

Before i could say anything, the nurse oreadie slapped that cold cold cream all over my cheeks area... Numbing cream!! Couldn't smile properly afterwards.

I looked like a geek who just came out from shower forgetting to remove my shower cap. DUHZ.

And so i concussed... Dozed from 3 to 4pm... zZZzz.....

Then i was embarassingly shook awake by the nurse who had to call me twice or thrice before i gradually opened my eyes? Blehs. =P

Day 1

I came home with this facial mask & BIG shades. Luckily the police patrolling on the roads for the runaway terrorist didnt catch me by mistake. Heh.

Home sweet home, accompanied by the brave one, who didn't mind me looking like a terrorist cum geek cum freaking frankenstein and had to constantly assure me that i look okay.(it's good to lie once in awhile) =)

Day 3

Look what i meant by the new monster in town. Sighs!!

Btw the whitish thing on my cheeks is the antibiotic cream meant to prevent infection of the wounds. Plus I painted my nails red to complement the redness on my face! Heh. For many days, i wasn't allowed to touch my face with hands. Got to use cotton buds instead.

Day 5

It's exhilarating to see the red outer skin peel off gradually!!

Every morning, mamee & i will be discussing which are the ones that have peeled away overnight! WoohoOo!

Pardon me for looking auntie-ish uh. I had no makeup on and i was crazily

bia-ing for my test then!! =P

Doc says cos i'm fair-skinned, so lucky me, i don't have to go through the darkening of the spots before they eventually peeled off like 1 month later!!

I will just *quote* "look like a chilli crab for a few days, then bingo! gone!"

A sweet someone bought me tidbits and Pilot G2 pens for extra encouragement!

*tee hee hee* 幸福，我要的幸福~在不远处~~

But he was pretty worn out after work. Plus i was busy studying!

My latest photo, showing most of the redness is gone!! WoohOOooo!!

It has been a week and two days, just some faint pink spots on certain areas. Now i can go without makeup!!

Hooray! But still... Got to take care of my acne scars... Heard from the doc there's a Smoothbeam laser aimed for curing scars and making pores look smaller.....

So giannnnn to try can!

Anyway, for now, i is HAPPY already! Wooohooo!
