You know the goodness of CNY besides collecting ang baos?

It's the only time of the year i can have a family dinner together.

It's the only time of the year i can see my dad a little while longer.

And,

It's also the only time of the year i can talk properly to my brother.

I love CNY.

I love the cookies! And the ba guas.

I love my baby nieces and nephews crowding around me.

I love to see all my uncles, aunties and coussies. Some, whom i only met once a year. I love dem' all.

I love to play 21 and Da Xiao with them. And i won money this year!

I love to go my frens' house to bai nian and do some catching up.

I love the fact that this CNY i have 5 days to wake up late late!

CNY is good in ALOT of ways!

Woohoo.... Who says he/she doesn't enjoy CNY?

I was chatting with my coussie who just got divorced.

Well... Of cos everyone was on their "alert" mode, cos this is the 1st year she stopped pai-ing ang baos...

aNd then she said....

She doesn't understand why people get married just simply becos they don't wanna spend a lonely life on their own.... Then regretting their choices later but realising it's too late... Then for the whole of their life, they will be grumbling and complaining to their children abt their partner.... The ONE they'd chosen....

Funny humans.... And the choices we made....

And i told her... In my usual sian tone... That once you've chosen love, just be ready to risk pain....

Life is always about give n take... choices n regrets... falling and standing up again.

Though very sian, but imperfections in life are always there to remind us how we choose to lead our life and what we can do to try and make things look better...
