- Sweetness -

Fren & i were tokking on our way home abt how we first met.

How we chatted like we've known each other for very very long, and how high we still were when we gotten back home.

"Do you still remember the date we first met?" i casually asked. Being the one with a very poor memory, i vaguely remember it was around March.

"Yup, i remembered it was 22nd March." Fren replied.

"WAH! How u remember one?"

"I put a note on my calendar. Maybe it's becos that was the day i talked and laughed alot with someone i met for the first time."

I'd rather believe it was the day you fell in love with me.

Nevertheless, it was sweet for you to remember. Not only the date, but also the colour of my blouse i wore that night, where we went and how i used to slap your shoulder like The Sassy Girl.

Heh. :)

It's good to look back once in awhile, talked about it and smile.

"Hey, I was wondering if you'll be celebratin Xmas with your friends?"

"Of cos! Xmas are supposed to be celebrated with your loved ones. Hope you'll enjoy your Xmas too!"

"Oh... I wanted to pass you your xmas present... I bought it for you from Taiwan when i was sailing... We never get to celebrate xmas tgther before hor?"

"Hmm.... We'll see when we will meet up... But i'm fully booked from now till 2nd Jan..."

"Okay... Busy as usual.. Take good care.."

"Yup. You too!"

Well, i told a fat white lie.

I'm not fully booked all the way till 2nd Jan, but i won't want to meet up with someone who's no longer in my life.

I don't see a point. And i think what i'm doing was right.

It's amusingly nice to bump into Maeness everywhere!!!
From Marina Sq bustop to Orchard Rd Taka...... Waha! Is this fate?
aNd i forgot to mention we went Katong for shi zi lu kou last Sunday!

With the sai too! *special guest appearance* hahaha

Our first stop: TAIWAN BEEF NOODLES!!!

From this expression, u agar agar guess how zai the soup base was!

How can we miss the Braised Pork Rice?? It was fatteningly GOOD!

Second Stop: MORE SINFUL (幸福)Yong Huat CHAR KWAY TEOW!

The pork lards are as big as your fingernails.
Sai telling us how pork lards can cause simi CVD or CBD or what lah. Medical terms again!!! Just EAT lah!

THIRD STOP: OKAY LAR FRIED WONTON

Spot the Sai's hair. Why he style his hair until so high ah?
The wontons!!! Not bery nice cos the skin is MORE than the meat inside!!!
But i heard (can oso smell) the Bak Chor Mee from this stall is GOOD......

FOURTH STOP: 师奶茶餐厅
Their Menu. Very HK feel. Quite alot of varieties too.

Acting kawaii while waiting for food
Self-entertainment time.
Sai threatening to drip his saliva on the PO LO buns and eating them all. Kaoz.
They then decided to fight it out and see who won the delicious Po Lo buns.

The po lo buns are SUPER DUPER Good sia. Crispy skin and soft inside. With the margarine, it's VERY VERY yummy!! *slurps*
Mango pudding with mango chunks and mango icecream. Super mango combi!
But the serving wasn't as BIG as we thought it would be.

The french toast was quite okay, at least it doesn't have an oily smell.

We walked around after the meals and wanted to have durian puffs as AFTERMEAL DESSERT, but eventually decided we'll have it next time.

WE WERE TOO FULL WITH BLOATED TUMMIES!!! aRGH.

It was dark by the time we waited for the bus to get home. Katong as rowdy as usual, filled with hungry people waiting to be fed.

Sai snoring on bus. Woohoo! Caught on candid camera. Wahahha.

WE SHALL CONQUERE THE DURIAN PUFFS NEXT TIME!! WOohoOo!!

Shanghai Shanghai, more pics as promised! :)
On our 3rd night there, we were treated to dinner at a high class restaurant dat overlooked Shanghai's breathtaking night scenery.
There were even big ships sailing past with PLASMA TVs on them to advertise for different companies..... Didn't manage to take pictures of them tho, cos dinner had already started.....
Da Da Jie, me, Da Jie and the P.

Before dinner, i ran around asking people to pose for the camera!! Haha lucky they very 配合 also.

Da Jie & me & one 路人甲 behind!
When we returned to the hotel, we were surprised there's a bar of kit kat on our bed! The nice hotel staff left it there every night after room service.... So nice right.......

On our 4th night, Da Jie wasn't feeling too well, so we decided to call for room service!!
BIG PLATES of food! Club sandwich, medium rare sirlion steak and my cheeseburger!! With two side orders of chicken wings and onion rings.

5th day of my shanghai trip, finally there's more sunlight!!! But the winds were icy cold.
We went Shanghai Lao Jie, which is famous for its cheap stuffs and you can bargain the prices until very very low!
But it's superbly crowded on weekends, and the traffic was VERY bad.
We came across Mac and i spotted the ice creams got more flavours there!! Got green apple, grape, chocolate and strawberry!! Grape was the nicest.
How does it feel to eat ice cream during winter time? SHIOKness!
Coffee bean translated as "咖啡宾". Sounds abit funny.
Taking a photo on our last night stay in the hotel.
Last day, taking a picture with the P over there. A humorous and humble man! And the most touching part is, he told us his agenda every night is to make a cup of warm milk for his wife before going to bed. Awwww........
Finally, heading back home......
